FAQ's

1) What makes Clean House different from other professional cleaning companies and services?

Clean House offers safe, green, non-toxic, and zero waste cleaning services utilizing professional methods and techniques learned by working as a professional cleaner for a licensed cleaning company, combined with years of personal trial and error in order to develop the best non-toxic cleaning ingredients to create the Clean House brand.  All cleaning products are created from scratch, mixed fresh, and harmlessly disposed of in any drain, toilet, or the ground.  To the extent possible, Clean House is committed to using only non-toxic ingredients and steam sterilization rather than caustic chemicals that can cause lung problems, skin irritation, and internal organ damage with prolonged use.  Clean House uses no disposable wipes, paper towels, or single use cleaning products.  Clean House uses reusable cleaning cloths that are laundered fresh before each use and sterilizes and refills all spray containers in order to reduce waste.  Cleaning cloths that have become soiled are retired and fresh cleaning cloths used for each clean.

2) Why is the Clean House price lower than many professional companies in the marketplace?

Clean House utilizes a flat rate model and is committed to providing affordable cleaning services to homes and businesses regardless of size or difficulty of the job.  We believe that the prices driving cleaning services are unfair and unethical and we would like to change that.  As professionals, we can handle difficult jobs and we stand behind our work and our methods with the Clean House Guarantee.  We believe that hard work in the beginning leads to prosperity in the future, therefore we offer cleaning services at a fair price to all of our honored guests.

3) How do you compare to other cleaning companies? Is "Green Cleaning" as effective as cleaning products on the market, and will my space be sterilized from germs and microbes such as COVID-19?

Commercial products on the market use many ingredients including ammonia, surfectants such as sodium laureth sulfate, water softeners, dyes, artificial perfumes, preservatives, and chemicals that serve no other purpose than to create a certain consistency or smell.  To fully understand the harm these chemicals cause (mostly respiratory, and skin irritants) it is necessary to look up each individul ingredient, and learn about its composition, history, and uses as well as how and why many substances were later banned for health reasons.  While efforts are being made to improve the safety of household cleaning chemicals, many products containing caustic chemicals are still widely used on the market.  It is very convenient to buy inexpensive household chemicals for cleaning, and many people do not understand the purpose of the chemicals and their function in the cleaning of various surfaces in the home, nor are they aware of the harmful side effects.  Most, if not all toxic substances can be substituted that accomplish the same thing as the toxic versions in the store, and in our professional experience, perform better.  In order to insure that your home is 100% sterilized and free of any microbes such as COVID-19, Clean House uses steam cleaning which is used by hospitals to sterilize its equipment.  High temperatures are in fact a more effective microbe killer than caustic chemicals, and the high pressure steam cleans inside cracks that cannot otherwise be reached.  Hydrogen peroxide and alcohol are also used to sterilize and kill germs.  You can confidently rest assured that your home or office space will be steril, clean, and healthy.

4) What is included in my clean?

Clean House will make your space sparkling clean from top to bottom and everything in between.  Clean House guarantees your satisfaction or your money back.  The "Feng Shui" approach is a tried and true "no stone left unturned" method that goes over every inch of the home or office in a methodical way, sweeping through like wind and water to clean every surface, nook, and cranny as needed.  Generally, the first few cleans will be more in depth and subsequent ones will therefore require less work.  All high moisture areas such as bathrooms, toilets, showers/bathtubs, sinks and countertops as well as walls will be steam cleaned to lift all built up grime and caked on dirt, then further sanitized with safe, non-toxic cleansing agents scented with natural oils, buffed and shined to perfection.  Dry/low moisture areas like bedrooms and furniture will be dusted, cleansed with moisturizing agents, buffed dry, and all floors swept, mopped, or vacuumed as needed.  We believe that it is worth the extra effort in the beginning to help experience the beauty and healthy feeling and scent of a clean environment so that you will continue to maintain your clean space for the duration of our relationship, hopefully for many years to come.

7) How much does a Clean House cleaning cost?

Each Clean House cleaning costs $108 regardless of size or condition.  It is recommended to get your space cleaned biweekly or two times per month, however, many people only need a cleaning once a month or less depending on their circumstances and lifestyle, while others require weekly cleanings.  Generally, most honored guests of Clean House invest about $216 per month on cleaning services.

8) What ingredients are used in Clean House cleaning products?

Clean House is proud of its methods and clean ingredients many of which are trade secrets.  All of the ingredients are carefully researched and tested on multiple surfaces for safety and effectiveness.  Clean House is committed to using as many natural ingredients as possible.  Among other things, Clean House uses real lemon and lime juices, baking soda, tea tree oil, lemon oil, lavender oil, cherry oil, almond oil, green tea, earl grey black tea, oolong tea, and distilled water.  Clean House uses no vinegar, bleach, or commercial cleaning products.

10) What is a "Feng Shui Organization and Tidying Lesson”?

Deciding to change is a major step and we do not minimize this monumental decision.  Together we will explore all the different elements that have factored into the current condition of the space, explore mental and emotional blocks and resistence that may be hindering progress, spend 2 solid hours together learning the principles of good organization and implementing them in your own space, and finally set in place a plan with goals to continue the process indefinitely long after our session is over.  Please reach out to info@108cleanhouse108.com to book your appointment.  Congratulations on your journey to a Clean House!  (Please Note:  Clean House does not currently have an official Feng Shui certification at this time but rather offers professional coaching services from personal research and experience.  Certified Feng Shui consulting costs much more and this is an economic way to get a taste of the Feng Shui methods.)

9) Are you bonded and insured?
